We are building a CJ-5 Jeep from the ground up as our very first project!
It all started with a 1970 Willys-Kaiser Jeep we found for sale by owner. After purchasing it one day we took it home and started looking over what we had bought. It had Dana 44 rear axles and Dana 27's on the front. 31" tires and a T14 3-speed tranny. A roll cage, 31" tires and Buick V-6 225 were also in this jeep.
We are well into this build and have lots of cool ideas yet to be implemented. This project is a REAL BUDGET BUILD. WE are buying parts at junkyards, private owners and swap meets.

We have bought another Jeep. This one is a 1995 YJ Wrangler. Currently it is red but it will not stay this color for long. We have big plans for this project. It will be a budget build and it will not involve an major changes - yet.
Our goal is to make this vehicle a great offroad Jeep as well as a good all around vehicle. Of course it will perform much better away from pavement than on it, but we hope to make it reliable too.
This one was purchased for $2,200 and came with a few goodies. It is in nice condition as is, but after looking under the hood (and under the Jeep itself) that some repairs and modifications are in order.
This one will be wheeling real soon so check out what we've done so far and what the future holds for our cool YJ!
