Carlisle Truck Show Pictures
pro compIf you love trucks, any kind of truck, you should have been at the Carlisle Fairgrounds for the 2008 Truck Show!

There were low-riders, monster trucks, mud runners and rock crawlers. Classics detailed to perfection and 4x4's built on a workin' man's budget. Everyone was represented and all showed well!

Besides all the great trucks there was a huge swap meet setup outside. Vendors from everywhere there to show new stuff, give tips and just be seen. Local shops were there too, because you don't have to look far to see great trucks and craftsmanship! Classic parts, lift kits, fender flares and even complete trucks all there for sale.

Truck / Tractor Pulls Pictures
pulling and smoking truck pullsThe place was Shippensburg Fairgrounds. The Main Event was Truck and Tractor Pulls. Included were fierce sounding engines, loads of horsepower and torque, and a whole lotta black smoke!

Every make of truck was out here showing the crowd what it could pull . And boy, they sure pulled some heavy loads!

Not to be outdone were the wild tractors. These babies were anything but your dad's old tractor sittin' in the field! Crazy smoke and hot sounding engines everyone could enjoy.

Stop in and see the pictures we took. You may find someone you know, or even YOUR machine out there!

Mud Bogs Pictures
big muddersMud was flying everywhere and we loved it! People from all over the area (and some from beyond) came out to show what their 4x4s could do.

There were stock vehicles, budget builds and major modifies competing for the mud throwing honor! We took soooo many pictures, but we'll show you the highlights here.

Come in and see just some of the wild and crazy mudthrashing that took place! You may see your friend or even yourself!

Thanks to everyone who came out on a warm Sunday in October. You all did great and we are already looking forward to next year!

YJ Wrangler Pictures

wranglerWe couldn't resist this '95 YJ Wrangler so we bought it. Of course we do need to do some minor work before we can take it offroad (and feel confident it will not quit on us).

We are handling the fixes and modifications in phases, just like our CJ-5.

It has a 2.5L 4-cylinder automatic and 33" BFG tires. There is a 2" body lift and 4" suspension lift along with a factory roll cage.

We have so many pictures we had to post some of them in the Misc PIcs section. Come check out this project and see the extra misc pics too!

CJ-5 Budget Build Pictures

frame upWe are building a CJ-5 Jeep from the ground up as our very first project!

It all started with a 1970 Willys-Kaiser Jeep we found for sale by owner. After purchasing it one day we took it home and started looking over what we had bought. It had Dana 44 rear axles and Dana 27's on the front. 31" tires and a T14 3-speed tranny. A roll cage, 31" tires and Buick V-6 225 were also in this jeep.

We are well into this build and have lots of cool ideas yet to be implemented. This project is a REAL BUDGET BUILD. WE are buying parts at junkyards, private owners and swap meets.

Check out all the progress we've made and see how this Jeep turns out!

Tractor Pulls - Rehoboth, MA October 2007

mad wood guyThis was a great time outdoors with tractors, machinery and the folks who love this stuff! Weather was perfect for this fall event.

Everywhere you went there were tractors, farm and garden, winding out and pulling hard!

Watching friends and family in the competitions, enjoying some wonderful New England food, and seeing a wooden art form come to life before your eyes.
